Is this going to be a rinse-repeat cycle? $2600 to self-deport, and then try again? While being in the US illegally is not a crime, it becomes one if you re-enter illegally. But to imprison "aliens" is going to be even more expensive than the supposed $18K it takes to deport them. Does this government plan make any sense?
