Eben Alexander, MD is famous for his bestselling book Proof of Heaven (two years on the NY Times bestselling list), about his near-death experience while in a 7-day coma, during which he visited higher realms and met Divine Consciousness. This caused him to reframe his entire purpose in life; he left neurosurgery in seach of understanding more about where consciousness comes from (it's not the brain).
Here he is interviewed by a fellow neurosurgeon and explains that he did not personally like the title Proof of Heaven for his book, but we know what drives public interest, don't we? This is a more technical/scientific interview than most given by Dr. Alexander -- very worth listening to.
