Christine Johnson's 1996 article (see it here), with dozens of clinical-study footnotes, informs us that the test for HIV simply shows the presence of antibodies -- any antibodies.  Any number of conditions, including pregnancy, the flu and malaria, can give you a positive HIV test. Therefore, as corroborated by biophysicist Eleni Papadopulos, PhD in this interview with Johnson, HIV is pretty much a ghost, a mirage, a red herring.

EPE: There is no proof that HIV causes AIDS.

EPE: For many reasons, but most importantly, because there is no proof that HIV exists.
