They look nice if you're in your 20s and just starting out in life, but to give up your private home and back yard and be moved into one of these will be a big shock to most Americans.  The idea is to have everyone living near work, near high-speed rail lines, near or above mega-stores (e.g. Whole Foods) in condensed "downtowns."  You will see the fancy train station (this design going in everywhere), the leasing signs for the new loft apartments, and plans are to build huge "luxury units" (hundreds of apartments per building) whether these are filled or not.  It's all part of our future: Buzzwords of the Agenda are "centers" where large numbers of people can shop, gather for a concert or recreate, "garden walks" (no more cars, only bikes), and "leasing" (not selling) living spaces.
